Verona - 5 - Week Intermediate Ceramics Class, 10/7-11/4, 6 pm-8 pm (Tuesday)

Once a week, every Tuesday! Classes will consist of 5 consecutive AM sessions.

Join us for an immersive 5-week pottery class designed to accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to moderate potters. Each session includes individualized instruction in a supportive studio environment. You should have basic wheel-throwing skills before taking this class.

Class Details:

• Class Fee: Includes unlimited clay during class time and the ability to keep up to 10 finished pieces.

• Safety and Usability: All creations are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

    • Throwing larger bowls and vases

    • Carving and designing thrown items

    • Hand-building small figures

    • Advanced glazing techniques

  • Included Material:

    • 1 bag, 25 lbs. of Gold Art high fire clay.

  • Recycled Clay:

    • Available for free

  • Overall Class Scope:

    • Comprehensive approach to pottery with a mix of techniques and material handling.

• Additional Visit: One visit required post-class for picking up finished work.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old. Participants aged 14-16 may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Policies:

• Cancellation: Full refund if canceled 15 days before the first class. 50% refund if canceled 10 days prior. No refunds after this period, subject to a 5% service fee.

• Make-Up Sessions: Quick make-up sessions available in 30-minute increments before or after pre-scheduled ongoing classes.

Preparation Tips:

• Participants with long nails are advised to trim them before the course.

• Wear clothes suitable for getting dirty.

• Graduates are eligible for studio membership with a first-month discount of 15%. Clay available for purchase at studio prices.
