Unplug, get your hands dirty, and discover the art of hand-building! This beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to fundamental clay techniques—pinching, coiling, and slab building—without needing a pottery wheel.

What You'll Learn & Create:

• Pinch Pots: Master basic shaping to create small bowls or planters.

• Coil Construction: Layer clay ropes to build unique mugs, vases, or abstract forms.

• Slab Building: Roll and combine flat pieces of clay to form sturdy, geometric pieces.

• Surface Decoration: Add texture using stamps, carving tools, and natural materials.

What to Bring:

• Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty.

• Trim long fingernails for easier clay shaping.

• All clay, tools, and firing services are fully provided.

No prior clay experience required! By the end of class, you’ll have handcrafted unique pieces ready for glazing and firing. Come relax, meet fellow beginners, and bring your ideas to life in clay.

• Additional Visit: One visit required post-class for picking up finished work.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old. Participants aged 13-15 may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Policies:

• Cancellation: Full refund if canceled 15 days before the first class. 50% refund if canceled 10 days prior. No refunds after this period, subject to a 5% service fee.

• Make-Up Sessions: Quick make-up sessions available in 30-minute increments before or after pre-scheduled ongoing classes.

Preparation Tips:

• Participants with long nails are advised to trim them before the course.

• Wear clothes suitable for getting dirty.

Membership Option:

• Graduates are eligible for studio membership with a first-month discount of 15%. Clay available for purchase at studio prices.
