Nature, preserved!

As summer days shorten and the crisp days of fall approach, we invite you to preserve a bit of summer in your own piece of pottery! Using slab and press mold handbuilding techniques, we will make impressions of summer's natural wonders (flowers, leaves, etc.) before they fade away for the season. Bring small clippings of your favorite garden plant or flower (and we will have some on hand as well) to be pressed into your hand-built piece of pottery. Project options include slab or press-molded plates or shallow bowls, no larger than 5"x5".

We will fire and finish your piece with your choice of glaze and have it ready to be picked up in approx. 4 weeks!

$45.00 per person.

Cancellation Policy:

• Full refund allowed if canceling 14 days prior to the class.

• No refunds or reschedules after the 14-day period. FULL REFUNDS ARE SUBJECT TO A 5% SERVICE FEE.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 17 years old. Participants aged 14-16 may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Note:

• Unfortunately, you won’t be able to keep what you make due to the lengthy process of a completed product.

• Individuals with long nails might find it difficult to use the potter's wheel. We highly advise trimming your nails prior to the course.

• There is always a chance you can get a little dirty. Clay is a non-staining material that washes out with ease.
