Join us for an immersive 5-week pottery class designed to accommodate all skill levels, whether you are brand new to the wheel or looking to refine your skills and add new ones, our small class size ensures you will get the attention and support you need to meet your individual goals. Each session includes individualized instruction in a supportive studio environment.

Class Details:

• Class Fee: Includes unlimited clay during class time and the ability to keep up to 10 finished pieces.

• Safety and Usability: All creations are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.

• Session Structure:

  • Class 1: Introduction to the studio, clay wedging, centering, and wheel throwing basics.

  • Class 2: Review of wheel throwing techniques, focus on creating cylinders and cups.

  • Class 3: Demonstration on trimming pieces from previous classes, open studio for creating cups and bowls.

  • Class 4: Instruction on trimming and finishing wet work.

  • Class 5: Glazing techniques and completion of projects.

• Additional Visit: One visit required post-class for picking up finished work.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old. Participants aged 13-15 may attend if accompanied by an adult.

Policies:

• Cancellation: Full refund if canceled 15 days before the first class. 50% refund if canceled 10 days prior. No refunds after this period, subject to a 5% service fee.

• Make-Up Sessions: Quick make-up sessions available in 30-minute increments before or after pre-scheduled ongoing classes.

Preparation Tips:

• Participants with long nails are advised to trim them before the course.

• Wear clothes suitable for getting dirty.

Membership Option:

• Graduates are eligible for studio membership with a first-month discount of 15%. Clay available for purchase at studio prices.
